EASTERN CAPE LIQUOR BOARD (ECLB) VISITS KING SABATHA DALINDYEBO LOCAL MUNICIPLAITY.
The Eastern Cape Liquor Board (ECLB) will be visiting three high schools under the King Sabatha Dalindyebo Local Municipality to intensify and bring awareness against the fight of underage drinking in schools.
ECLB heeded the call from their ambassadors who saw a need for an urgent an underage drinking awareness campaign on their schools. This call is also after learners reported numerous cases of Pens Down parties that were being planned and a new tendency of learners from Mthatha schools who gather at the Plaza consuming alcohol. During this campaign, ECLB will be accompanied by members of the religious fraternity from the local churches.
Media is, therefore, invited to the session, which is scheduled to take place as follows:
