ADJUSTED ALERT LEVEL 1 REGULATIONS ON LIQUOR SALE

As the country moves to Alert Level One of the Risk Adjusted Strategy:

• All licensed liquor outlets are permitted to sell liquor in accordance with their license trading conditions but are not allowed to sell liquor during Curfew hours between 12am and 4am.
• The consumption of liquor in public places, except in licensed on-site consumption premises, is not permitted.
• Liquor traders are urged to ensure that patrons and employees obey all the Covid 19 health protocols, which include ensuring 1,5m social distancing, wearing of masks and sanitising. Members of the community are encouraged to report cases of non-compliance with the liquor trading conditions to the nearest police station or you can call Eastern Cape Liquor Board on the Toll-Free Number 080 000 0420 or send an SMS to a WhatsApp Number 076 403 6223.
