Eastern Cape Liquor Board is a Schedule 3C Public Entity whose mandate is to make provision for the registration of retail sales and micro-manufacturing of liquor in the Eastern Cape, to encourage and support the liquor industry; to manage and reduce the socio-economic and other costs of excessive alcohol consumption. Qualifications and Experience
  • A Matric plus B. Proc and / LLB Degree as a minimum requirement.
  • Admitted Attorney.
  • Minimum of 3 year’s post admission experience and specialist knowledge of
  • administrative law.
  • Good knowledge of Labour Law and Labour Relations Act.
  • A valid driver’s licence.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Previous experience in a regulatory and compliance enforcement environment will be an added advantage.

  • Registration as practicing GIS Technician with South African Geomatics Council previously known as PLATO.
  • Knowledge of surveying, mapping, GPS principles and GIS applications.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum requirement of a post graduate qualification in social sciences or public relations minimum requirement.
  • At least five years extensive experience within communication or public relations.
  • Minimum five (5) years’ experiences at management level.
  • Demonstrated experience in the development and implementation of educational and awareness campaigns within the liquor industry would be advantageous.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding the social impact of alcohol abuse.
  • Understanding of research methodologies.
  • A valid driver’s licence.

  • 5 years’ experience working as Peace officers, law enforcement and/or compliance officer experience.
  • Knowledge and understanding of stakeholder engagement and inter – governmental relations.
  • Code 8 of unendorsed driver’s licence with a minimum of 3 (three) years driving experience.
  • Computer literacy.

  • Must be a South African citizen
  • Must have not participated in any internship in the Public Service.

  • Leading, communicating clearly, team motivation and conflict resolution

  • Relay anti-alcohol abuse messages.
