EASTERN CAPE LIQUOR BOARD URGES COMMUNITIES TO PLAY AN ACTIVE ROLE IN THE ISSUING OF A LIQUOR LICENSE IN THEIR RESPECTIVE AREAS

The Eastern Cape Liquor Board (ECLB) would like to encourage communities to use their constitutional right to be part of the decision-making in the issuing of a liquor license through a community consultation process.

ECLB URGES LIQUOR TRADERS TO BE VIGILANT FOR  THE THIRD WAVE COVID 19 OUTBREAK

In view of the looming Third Wave and recent proclamation of Adjusted Level 2 Lockdown, the Eastern Cape Liquor Board urges all liquor traders to adhere to Covid 19 health protocols, which include social distancing, wearing of masks and hand washing (sanitising).

The Eastern Cape Liquor Board (ECLB) cordially invites media to the school-based underage drinking launch targeting  more than five schools in Makanda Local Municipality, at Grahamstown.

LIQUOR LICENCES RENEWAL ENDS 30 JUNE 2021 REMINDER!!!!!

The deadline for the renewal of liquor licences by all outlets who obtained their licences before 27 March 2020 was extended to 30 June 2021.

EASTERN CAPE LIQUOR BOARD CLAMPS DOWN ON NON-COMPLIANT LIQUOR OUTLETS

Eastern Cape Liquor Board (ECLB) in partnership with South African Police Service (SAPS) conducted ‘Gijima Tsotsi Blitz Operation’ to clamp down on non-compliant liquor outlets in and around Alice on Friday evening.
